"The
heart of Samurai Otani, who has given up on MLB"
In the
era of Reiwa, the martial art of baseball seems to be thriving across the sea.
At Bishamon-do in Kasugayama Castle, Oyakata-sama is so loud that she can't
help but cheer for Otani-dono during breaks in politics. If you think about it,
it seems that the level of the major has fallen somewhat. Don't you think so?
It's refreshing to see a baseball martial artist from a minor country kicking
around a major player. It may sound like a joke, but even though I'm good at
kicking balls, all I can do is accidentally kick my own ball. Even Mr. Nomo
took the world by storm with the Dodgers' tornado whirlwind, and has been
active in the MLB for more than ten years. He's had two no-hitters, and he's
looking forward to the reward of his MLB pension. It looks like Ichiro-dono has
been inducted into the Hall of Fame and is receiving a generous pension. Mr.
Matsui and Mr. Oya must also recognize the achievement of serving MLB for 10
years. Darvish-dono has been doing his best in the majors for over ten years.
He is also a proud baseball martial artist. Even so, Mr. Otani, who has broken
open the frame of two-sword style in MLB, is truly splendid. It's really
refreshing and pleasant to see him taking on the challenge of something that no
one has ever done before.
